Keeping Your Medical Assistance (Medicaid)

Follow these instructions if you are:

 

  • Under 65
  • A parent or caretaker relative of a minor child
  • Disabled but not receiving Medicare yet
  • Have a child enrolled in Medicaid
  • A former foster care child

If your Medical Assistance coverage has ended, you can now apply by using any computer that has internet access, visit: www.marylandhealthconnection.gov or call:  1-855-642-8572.

Follow these instructions if you are:

  • Older than 65 and are not a parent or caretaker relative of a minor child
  • Blind
  • Disabled and not Medicare eligible
  • Living in a nursing facility
  • A current foster care child

Apply or reapply online at this website: www.marylandsail.org , or in person by visiting your local Department of Social Services Office. If you need additional help, call:  1-844-627-5465.

Save time, have the following application information available:

  • The monthly income for your entire household (including pay stubs, W-2 forms, or tax returns if you have them)
  • Social Security Number for each household member
  • Immigration information, (if you or a household member are immigrants)
