PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE:

I am very excited to be the principal at North East Elementary School this coming school year. My career with Cecil County Public Schools started in 1997, as a teacher at Thomson Estates Elementary. From there I went on to teach at Calvert Elementary School.  From there, onto the rolle of  an Instructional Support Teacher at Holly Hall Elementary and a Local Support Teacher at Kenmore Elementary School.  I transitioned into the administration role as an assistant principal at both Perryville Elementary and Conowingo Elementary.  Most recently, I served as principal at Elk Neck Elementary School for the last four years.  

I grew up in Cecil County and attended Cecil County Public Schools.  My father opened North East High School and served as principal of North East for many years.  North East is my home.  I grew up attending athletic games, plays, and the long ago North East Water Festival.  I am thrilled to give back to the same community that gave me so much as a child.  I have an open door policy and please feel free to contact me at any time with any concerns or questions you have pertaining to your child or your child’s education.  I truly believe in putting the child first.  It is important that we build a school where the student’s feel safe and secure and want to come to school each and every day.  It is my goal to build a lifelong love of learning in each child who walks through the doors of North East Elementary.
